If you live in Geneva (IL) and you’re looking for professional dental care for yourself or others you care about, Oswego Dental Group has been serving Geneva patients since before scenes in the movie “Road to Perdition” starring Tom Hanks and Paul Newman were filmed on State Street.
We support our Geneva patients with dental specialization supported by state-of-the-art technology and old-fashioned, patient-centered care. We welcome Geneva residents of all ages!
Whether you’re looking to enhance your smile, correct a dental issue or simply have your teeth checked and cleaned, Oswego Dental Group provides comprehensive care for the dental appearance and function you desire.
Our dentists can provide you with treatment and consultation for services such as:
Proactive Prevention ׀ We support your goal to help avoid common dental problems through preventative treatments such as fluoride, sealants, snore guards, bite guards and diagnostic x-rays.
Dental Cleanings ׀ A dental cleaning removes tartar and plaque to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums. At Oswego Dental Group, we clean what regular brushing and flossing cannot, especially in areas of the mouth and teeth that are harder to reach.
Crowns ׀ Porcelain crowns repair broken or decayed teeth with highly esthetic ceramic restorations. They often can’t be distinguished from natural teeth. We provide full gold crowns as well.
Fillings ׀ Tooth-colored (or composite resin) fillings can restore teeth with cavities or old, degrading silver amalgam fillings. Beyond having a natural look and feel, the fillings utilize polymer resin technology for longer-lasting durability.
Treatment of Gum Disease ׀ Improperly maintained teeth and gums can develop inflammation, tartar and plaque, and gum pockets. If such symptoms aren’t addressed, they can advance to a gum disease. Oswego Dental Group helps prevent gum disease and effectively treats it should it set in and start to advance.
Cosmetic Dentistry ׀ Attractive teeth and a beautiful smile add facial radiance and contribute to a confidence that other people can see. Oswego Dental Group helps you achieve your ideal smile by enhancing the appearance of the mouth, teeth and gums.
We are also your encouraging advocate in a personal dental-care health plan that follows best practices for healthy teeth and gums, such as:
Dental treatments for Geneva patients are just as comfortable as they are efficient. Your dental experience with us integrates current technology such as:
Dental Cone Beam Computed Technology (CBCT) ׀ “Cone beam” images of the mouth provide detailed insight into the current health and structure of teeth.
Diagnostic Laser ׀ An adjustable tool detects and treats dental conditions without causing pain or affecting healthy tissue.
Digital X-Rays ׀ Digitized images allow us to view, review and adjust x-rays of teeth on a computer screen instead of refer to film that can fade and degrade.
Digital Impressions ׀ A special camera digitally photographs, transfers and prints tooth images in three dimensions. No more bitter, gooey material for making molds!
Intraoral Cameras ׀ Cameras apply filtered LED light to detect certain types of tooth decay by making it fluoresce. They can spot even the tiniest start of a cavity in surface enamel.
We further reinforce safe, clean treatments with heat, cold or chemical sterilization techniques if needed. We use disposable instruments and plastic barrier shields wherever possible as well.
New patients from Geneva can schedule a dental cleaning and check-up by either calling us or submitting a request. If you have a dental matter needing prompt attention, we encourage you to call our office before your visit to share more about the condition.
When you arrive at Oswego Dental Group, we’ll greet you and check you in. We’ll then review your current dental questions and goals. We’ll also check your teeth and gums and determine if any further insight will support your personal dental plan.
We ask new patients to complete brief registration forms as well. We will forward these forms to you by text so you can fill them out before arriving for your appointment. If you’re unable to complete the forms by text, they will be available for you at the office before your scheduled appointment.
Please note that if a dental visit will be for a youth under the age of 18, the patient should be accompanied by a parent. We offer office hours compatible with most local school and holiday schedules.
If you have dental insurance, we will prepare, file and track your insurance claims for you. Please check with your insurance company so you know what your dental coverage is before your initial visit.
Your ability to afford proper dental care is important to us. If you should ever feel that dental costs are a concern, you can also inquire about our In-Office Membership Plan that provides discounted dental services.
As dental practitioners serving Batavia, we understand and appreciate what you look for from a community dentist beyond solutions for your teeth:
We built our practice on these expectations, and we observe them with the same dedication today. We want to be your trusted partner in your long-term dental plan.
