Most patients in our practice have their teeth cleaned by one of our hygienists every six months. At that time, the dentist checks the teeth and gums for any problems. Some patients with gum disease come in more frequently for teeth cleanings, so that we can more closely monitor their gum condition. Regular cleanings and exams are important for maintaining healthy teeth and attractive smiles. Our expanded hygiene hours allow patients greater flexibility in scheduling their appointments. On most days, our practice has 3-4 hygienists available to see patients, so we have the ability to see several family members for teeth cleaning appointments-all at the same time. This allows parents with busy schedules to have their cleaning and checkups completed quickly.
